Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using ApexPDF. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ApexPDF mobile application and related websites or services. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License to use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use ApexPDF on devices you own or control, solely for personal or internal business purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play rules.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of unauthorized use.

4. Free trial, Pro & billing

ApexPDF may offer a free trial and paid subscriptions that unlock additional tools. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are handled through Google Play (and/or other payment partners where shown in the App). After a trial ends without a Pro subscription, access to some tools may be limited (for example signature features may remain available while other tools require a plan).

Taxes, refunds, and chargebacks follow the applicable store or payment processor policies.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of documents and data you upload or create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the features you request (including sync, OCR, forms, and exports). You represent that you have the rights to use that content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload our services
  • Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights
  • Bypass subscription, security, or access controls
  • Misuse cloud OAuth connections or access others’ accounts

7. Third-party services

Cloud storage, payment, analytics, and messaging providers are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for those services’ availability or policies.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that processed documents will meet every legal or archival requirement in your jurisdiction.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApexPDF and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $50 if you paid nothing).

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the country where the App operator is established, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country provide otherwise.
